Senior Sales Development Representative

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Senior Sales Development Representative (Senior SDR) to take ownership of outbound growth and pipeline quality. In this role, you will go beyond execution—driving high-performing outreach while refining prospecting strategies, improving conversion rates, and mentoring junior SDRs.

You will act as a key bridge between marketing and sales, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality SQLs while continuously optimizing messaging, targeting, and outbound systems.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Prospecting & Market Expansion:
Identify high-value segments, geographies, and decision-makers through deep research, going beyond standard tools. Continuously experiment with new outbound strategies and channels to unlock growth.

Advanced Lead Qualification:
Refine ICP criteria using real conversion data and ensure only high-intent leads move forward. Own pipeline quality by improving MQL → SQL conversion.

Outbound Optimization:
Design and improve multi-channel outreach across email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and calls. Run A/B tests on messaging and personalize outreach at scale to maximize engagement.

Ownership of Top-of-Funnel Metrics:
Take full ownership of key metrics like reply rates, meeting conversions, and pipeline contribution—focusing on continuous improvement, not just tracking.

Mentorship & Team Support:
Guide junior SDRs on prospecting, messaging, and CRM best practices, while contributing to onboarding and overall team performance.

Sales & Marketing Alignment:
Collaborate closely with marketing to refine targeting and campaign quality, while working with Account Executives to improve demo conversions and pipeline efficiency.

Pipeline Quality & Handover:
Ensure well-qualified, high-intent leads are passed to AEs, directly impacting SQL → closed deal conversion.

KPIs

  • Pipeline generated and contribution to revenue
  • SQL → demo and demo → closed deal conversion rates
  • Effectiveness of outbound campaigns (reply rates, bookings, engagement)
  • Overall improvement in pipeline quality

Required Skills

Strong experience in outbound prospecting and lead generation using tools like Apollo, Lusha, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, combined with excellent communication skills to engage decision-makers across channels.

You should be comfortable working with CRMs such as HubSpot or Salesforce, with the ability to analyze campaign performance and optimize outreach based on data. A strong sense of ownership, collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently is essential.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in SDR/BDR or similar outbound sales roles
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding pipeline or demo targets
  • Experience mentoring SDRs or leading outbound initiatives is a plus
  • Familiarity with healthcare SaaS products is an added advantage
